PROGRAMME SYSTEM
WHERE GOOD
PROGRAMMES SLIP
You can know exactly what a client needs and still find yourself staring at a blank document when it is time to turn that expertise into an eight or twelve-week programme.
1. Expertise isn't the same as programme design.
You can identify what a client needs in ten minutes. Turning that knowledge into something she can follow, practise and progress through over eight or twelve weeks is a separate discipline.
2. The structure gets rebuilt every time.
A worksheet appears on a Sunday night. A check-in gets invented because the session falls on Tuesday. A tracker is created for one client and never quite makes it into the next programme.
3. The programme has a beginning, but the middle and end evolve as you go.
Week four arrives because the calendar says so. The final session happens, you send a warm message, and then the client is left to work out how to keep going.

INTRODUCING THE PROGAMME FRAMEWORK

Your expertise is the content. This is the structure it runs on.
Your knowledge is what makes your programme yours. The Programme Framework gives that knowledge a clear structure for delivery.
It brings the key decisions into one place: what happens when, how the client progresses, when you review, what needs to be in place before moving forward, and where safety decisions sit within the journey.
The result is a programme that has a clear beginning, a purposeful progression and a defined route through to completion.
You are still bringing your own expertise, content and professional judgement. The framework gives you somewhere solid to put it.
And because the structure is content-flexible, you can use it again. Build one programme around it, then use the same underlying architecture for the next.
The structure is decided once. Your expertise is what fills it.
HOW IT WORKS
A simple weekly rhythm
Every week has a clear flow: one short lesson, one action, one grounding ritual and one reflection. Days 5 and 6 create space to practise and settle the week into everyday life. It gives practitioners a repeatable structure for delivering each week without rebuilding it as they go.
1
Progress that follows the client
Clients move through four stages: Stabilise, Strengthen, Refine and Sustain. Each stage has a clear purpose, with progression guided by the client's behaviours, patterns and capacity. Practitioners have a clear framework for knowing when to move forward and when to give something more time.
2
A sequence with purpose
The pathway follows a carefully considered order: relief, education, confidence, complexity, stabilisation and precision. Each stage builds on the one before it, creating a journey that feels clear and relevant to where the client is.
3
The journey from start to sustain
Orientation creates a strong starting point. Sustain turns progress into something the client can continue in everyday life. The final phase brings together repeatable routines, resilience planning, a reset route and a practical maintenance blueprint. The workbook carries the client through the full journey in one continuous system.

WHAT'S INSIDE
Three documents. One orientation file, one read once, one worked from throughout delivery, one used at defined points in the client journey.
Governance and System Guide
Section 1. Covers scope, audience, structure, boundaries, content status, personalisation and design rules. Read once at the start to set the rules for the system.
Programme Delivery Guide
Section 2. Covers delivery, workbook and session structure, coaching, adjustments, safety, behaviour support and accountability. Designed for reference throughout delivery.
Worksheet
Tools
Seventeen practitioner-only tools covering readiness, sessions, safety, decisions, planning and communication. Practical resources for use during delivery.
WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH

A fixed weekly delivery rhythm
You apply to every client, decided once and reused.
A four-stage client journey
with clear points to review progress and decide whether it's time to move forward or give something more time.
A workbook that carries the whole programme
from the initial starting point through to maintenance, so the client has one place to follow, track and reflect on her progress.
Safety built into the delivery process
with clear guidance around when to pause, when to adjust and when a client may need to be referred on.
A structure you can use again and again
across the programmes you create, giving your practice a consistent way of delivering without starting from scratch each time.
WHO IT'S FOR
Newly qualified and early-stage practitioners who want a professional delivery structure they can use immediately.
Practitioners returning to practice who would rather work from governed structure than rebuild from memory.
Practitioners already running programmes who want a more consistent standard across every client.
You're intelligent, conscientious and busy, and likely to open these documents while a delivery decision is waiting.
